Welcome to my fledgling page of "Voice Of a Vet" on Medium! I am still trying to find my VOICE in this "Voice of a Vet" concept. For now, it will likely consist of a dose of bullshit, a shot or two of sarcasm, and maybe a little something useful or worth thinking about. I want to be able to write some things that hopefully resonate with fellow veterans and also the first responder community (I also worked very closely with first responders for many years - but I will save that detail for a post in the near future.) My contributions will likely consist of reflections and opinions based upon my 21-year military career, with 15-years also serving as a federal agent within the Department of Defense. One of my upcoming projects will be documenting the PERSONAL STORIES of military veterans and first responders from all walks of life and all kinds of experiences.
